The high energy content of the briquettes allows comfortable and economical heating. These Briquettes are made from mixed sawdust of softwood and hardwood. RUF is made on an extruder press which prevents this briquette from expanding when burning and therefore gives a long-lasting burn time, especially in a wood burner. A great supplement to a real wood fire or can be used independently produces very little smoke and is easy to light with a small amount of kindling.

Really good eco briquettes, burns with a nice long lasting flame and good heat output. I use these on my multi fuel stove, I can control the air to get the most from the briquette this is the only fuel I use now with this stove, they are also easy stored as they are clean and like building blocks. I also have used the 100% birch briquettes even more heat. HS Fuels are very good to deal with if you have any questions they will answer you honestly.
